Profile:With a background that includes over 18 years of business experience, Grace Choung managed a branch of a national bank in North Carolina, owned her own sports marketing business covering the Pacific Rim and opened up an office for a "Fortune 100" company in Honolulu, Hawaii. She also served as a business consultant to one of the country’s largest executive recruiting companies helping non-profitable offices reach profitability. Today she is the powerhouse behind Kai – The Medical Spa. Business Description:Kai – The Medical Spa provides a large selection of treatments for pampering, relaxation, beauty and results. With locations in Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Sandy Springs, Kai has a skincare boutique with the very latest in body care products from around the world. Services are designed for both women and men, and combine medical-grade products to achieve the best results in the shortest time period. A Hawaiian word meaning “a body of water,” Kai symbolizes peace, calmness and serenity in a spa atmosphere. Outstanding Achievements and Community Involvement:A graduate of The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Grace Choung holds a degree in Speech Communications. She is on the Executive Board Committee of The UNC Rams Club and on the steering committee of the University Of North Carolina Alumni Association of Atlanta. She is also a member of the Junior League of Atlanta, an Ambassador for Sandy Springs Business Association, member of the North Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce. Other community involvement includes the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association, the High Museum of Art, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and Buckhead Church. In her spare time, Choung enjoys volunteering for the American Heart Association, Breast Cancer awareness groups and other charities. She believes strongly in giving back to the community. Milestones:Since moving to Atlanta in 2003, Grace Choung has been a pioneer in the medical spa industry. Her goal has been to build a business where she can not only enhance her clients’ outside appearance, but create an environment where she can mentor people. As host of a series of educational events, she takes pride in connecting people, and works hard to keep Kai extremely community-focused. Choung believes in connecting with other women and building strong business relationships in Atlanta.
